About us
In 1969, two brothers named David and Leo Kiesel, started a construction company in Paramaribo, Suriname. They named the company KIESEL, referring to their last name, but also referring to ‘kieselsteine’, which were an essential ingredient of concrete mixtures.
The brothers ran the company for seventeen years, but in 1986 the company was sold to three other brothers named Roel, Kenneth and Eric Lim A Po, who still own the company till this day.
All three brothers are engineers and hold executive positions within the company, with Kenneth serving as CEO, and both Eric and Roel in charge of the operations and projects.
